ABOUT US

Restoration Prayer is a Christ-centered healing prayer ministry based on the promises of Isaiah 61:1–3. This passage describes the mission Jesus declared as His own — to bring good news, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to those in bondage, comfort those who mourn, and restore lives through the power of God.

Our heart is to create a safe, prayerful environment where people can encounter Jesus, experience His love, and receive the healing and freedom that He offers.  We believe that true restoration comes through a personal relationship with Him and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life.  There is one eternal God, existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son-Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary.  He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and physically rose from the dead.  He will return to judge the living and the dead.

Salvation is the free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by our own works.  Jesus came to seek, save, heal, and restore people into a right relationship with God.

God loves each person deeply and desires to walk with us throughout every season of life and into eternity.

The Holy Spirit continues to guide, comfort, and speak to God's people, and His people can learn to recognize and respond to His voice.

OUR TEAM

Our ministry team is made up of men and women whose own lives have been touched by the healing and restoring work of Jesus Christ. Having personally experienced His freedom, forgiveness, hope, peace, and love, we are passionate about walking alongside others as they seek Him.

Since 2010, we have had the privilege of praying with individuals who desire a deeper encounter with Jesus and greater freedom in their lives. Every team member has first participated in Restoration Prayer personally before serving on the team. All members are carefully vetted, trained, and committed to serving with humility, compassion, confidentiality, and dependence on the Holy Spirit.

Our desire is simple: to point every person to Jesus, trusting Him to do the healing, restoring, and transforming work that only He can do.

Restoration Prayer is a ministry of Stockton Ministries, a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people be rooted in the Father's love, living in freedom, and growing in an intimate relationship with Jesus. For more info see their website: http://ginastockton.com/

Jeanne Swanberg

I have been happily married to Jim for 42 years and have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. My favorite thing is spending time with my family.  I like to hike, fly fish, garden, read and do almost anything my grandkids want to do.

Praying with others and watching how Jesus kindly heals hearts and sets them free to be who he made them to be has been one of the greatest joys of my life.  It was done for me and greatly changed my life. I want to share that with others.

Cassie Snow

My husband, Bill, and I have been married for 37 years and are blessed with three wonderful children and five grandchildren. We have made our home in Southern California and cherish living close to our children and their families.

It is one of my greatest joys to serve alongside this team of grounded, Christ-centered people. I love walking with others as they encounter Jesus, experience His healing and freedom, and discover the abundant life He desires for them. Watching Him restore hearts and transform lives never ceases to amaze me, and it is a privilege to be part of what He is doing.

Angela Briwick

As a longtime prayer warrior, I treasure time with my family—especially my two little grandbabies.  My husband and I love hosting friends and family in our home here in beautiful Arizona.  I’m actively involved in Bible studies at my home church.  After experiencing incredible freedom through my own inner-healing prayer journey with the restoration ministry team, I’ve developed a deep passion for walking alongside others on their prayer journeys.

I am grateful to have been married for 28 years and blessed with three children and 7 grandchildren. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities, but one of my most cherished roles is coming alongside others through the Restoration Ministry. Creating a safe space for the Holy Spirit to work in ways only He can is a true joy for me. My journey began in 2014 when I was given the opportunity to experience healing as a VIP. This experience has profoundly impacted every area of my life, including my marriage, parenting, relationships, and sense of calling. I am currently serving as a pastor at a local church, officiating weddings, and pursuing a Master's in Christian formation at seminary. Witnessing the powerful movement of the Lord in my life at this stage is both humbling and exhilarating.

After 25 years of marriage to the love of my life, I still choose to pursue her and love her. We have three amazing children together. I intentionally choose gratitude, and the honest truth is, I have so much to be thankful for. God placed this ministry on my heart many years ago and He has been so faithful. Life can and will be difficult; with my eyes on Him, I get to experience joy along the way! I desire to share with others the unburdened freedom Jesus has for all of us.

Kathy Stevens

I live in North San Diego County with my husband, Gary.  I spend my time reading, gardening, working part-time for a clothing retailer, and caring for my elderly mother. I am passionate about inner healing. I value being connected to the Lord rather than being “religious.” I delight in partnering with a faithful God who moves in people’s hearts. He frees them to live rooted in his ways and his truth, just as He has graciously done for me.

Oh my…what can I say about this ministry! I have been blessed with so many milestones in my life that are life changing:  my salvation, marriage of 48 years, the birth of our 7 children and 12 grandchildren, family, traveling, etc., but I could not do life without the things that I learned through this ministry.

It SAVED me… I was STUCK in my Christian walk and I didn’t know where to turn.  I didn’t realize that the traumas, my belief system and my life choices had such a hold on me, and not just me but how it effected my spouse and my children.  I wish I would have gone through this ministry before marriage and having children.  Because of the freedom that I gained and am still gaining, it burned  a strong passion within me to see others walk in their freedom, to get victory that God has for them, and that there is hope and abundant life.  I am honored and grateful for this calling to serve on this team.   2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Michele Keathley

I love spending time in God's creation and with the people I love most. You'll often find me surfing, hiking, skiing, dancing, camping, journaling, or enjoying all things wellness and healthy living. One of my favorite ways to start the day is dancing with the Lord, something that was once spoken over me prophetically long before it became part of my daily life.

There was a season when I felt deeply stuck and was crying out to Jesus to set me free. In His faithfulness, He led me to the Restoration Ministry team, where I experienced profound healing, freedom, and a deeper understanding of His love. Because of what God has done in my own life, it brings me tremendous joy to walk alongside others on their journeys toward healing and freedom. Witnessing the power of the Holy Spirit restore hearts and transform lives feels like experiencing a little more of heaven on earth. I am honored to serve on this team and to partner with the Lord in the beautiful work He is doing. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
